  • Share an inclusivity statement with staff and students
  • Avoid discriminatory language and behavior

🧠 LGBTQIA+ Awareness for Staff

Encouraged Standard: Help staff build confidence in creating inclusive spaces

  • Offer occasional training or resources
  • Host discussions on respectful communication and inclusion

🗣️ Respect for Names, Pronouns & Titles

Encouraged Standard: Support students in choosing how they’re addressed

  • Use preferred names and pronouns
  • Offer rank-based titles instead of gendered terms
